Some people are born with special body conditions. One condition is called MRKH syndrome. People with this condition do not have a uterus or vagina when they are born. But they can still make eggs in their ovaries.
Today, doctors can help these people have babies. One way is uterus transplant. This means doctors put a new uterus inside the person's body. The uterus comes from another person who gives it to help.
Another way is called surrogacy. The person's egg is put into another woman's body. That woman carries the baby and gives birth. The baby still has the same genes as the parents.
These medical treatments are new but they work. Many people have had healthy babies this way. Doctors keep learning new ways to help people become parents.
