Why do people give money? Rich people sometimes give money for tax benefits or to look good. Poor people often give because they understand other people's problems. They want to help because they know how it feels to need help.
Both rich and poor people can be generous. The important thing is not how much money someone has. What matters is their heart and their desire to help others.
